Technology is constantly evolving, we’ve gained an easier way of communication and speed to get things done. We can talk to people across the world instantly, watch videos and movies online and find answers to questions online. It has made communication, learning, and entertainment fast and easy.
While we have gained a lot, we also lost important things as well. Human connection has been lessened as there is not much of a need to meet face-to-face anymore, especially in the work world. A lot of people are remote now, doing meetings online. We have also become incredibly reliant on the internet and digital devices. Most doctors offices for example, now have peoples information online in a database.. If that database were to go down, it could cause life threatening issues if people are unable to access the proper documents.
We had gained efficency, and easiness, but had lost human touch and physical documents. It is incredibly important to keep up with connection of nature, and people out there. We were meant for communication face to face, but now people are unfortunately losing social skills due to being able to simply text or email, and rarely have to speak anymore to others.
