The Digital Revolution has changed how we communicate and even just live our daily lives. One of the major advantages of digital revolution is faster communication. Communication had started with more simple systems such as morse code and the telegraph, but now have revolutionized into smartphones and the internet, to allow for people to be able to contact eachother instantly.
Another advantage of digital revolution is how factories have revolutionized and continuously evolved their technology. For example, starting from a jacquard loom, we had made it all the way to massive machinery that produces clothing and much more incredibly quick, not relying on human labor as much.
Some limitations that have come from the digital revolution is that some electronics are incredibly expensive, such as smart phones and laptops, making it difficult for everyone to be able to afford these devices. Another limitation is that we now rely heavily on technology. If systems fail theres chances some almost all places may be fully shut down. Also the fact that there could be cyber security issues, as criminals are typically a step ahead of certain protections people may have on their devices. Unlike older systems, we now rely on the internet for most things, such as jobs, where some jobs are fully online and require access to websites. If those websites go down it creates a severe disruption in companies and businesses.
